I was so excited to hear that Queen Latifah had partnered with CoverGirl Cosmetics to create The CoverGirl Queen Collection—a multitude of shades just for us.When I caught up with her, I learned she had worked overtime to put together the right foundations, as well as a cache of goodies for eyes, lips and nails. “This line is about choices,” says the Queen. “There really should be more lines like this one for women of color.” Given the billion-plus we sisters spend annually on getting gorgeous, I can’t help but agree, which is why I say, “Hail to the Queen!”
