If this person and Bobby were such good friends then he would respect that Whitney is bobby's ex wife and the mother of his child and so he wanted to back out because of it hurting their daughter and even Whitney. If he still wants to write a book do so but leave the negative stuff about Whitney out. This is wrong to keep going with the book and Bobby is no longer a part of the process but that is Hollywood and people who are in it just for the money. He is pretty much saying to hell with Bobby's, Whitney's and Bobbi Kristina's feelings.
