Ms.Wilson is a legend but she needs to release the past and leave the Supremes to history.I guess it's hard to be part of a phenomenal experience like that and then it's over. But that's life.
We all have to change and move forward. We also need to accept that each individual has a unique destiny.
There is always this aura of bitterness surrounding the story of the Supremes and it's time to dispel that and just be glad for their music and legacy.
There are two things that I believe in this situation and they are: we don't really know what they did or didn't do, at a young age and drugs, alcohol or depression wasn't yet determined a disease, and that everyone doesn't always want help. Her family has eluded some the of blame for years, but I know in a family as large as Flo's there were some people depending on her as well. We can only do the best we know how to do.
Although I am glad that Mary's life is going well at this time, I still can't help feeling that she could have been more supportive of the Florence Ballard situation...she may have not been able to do anything, but I believe she felt if she supported Florence she would have been let go too.
