Hello! I've been trying to contact Essence in regards to a book they featured in an older edition about African-American women advancing their careers...I know it was published this year...I remember the book was not yet published (will be this year) and it was a "keep on the radar" item...I would love some insight!!
Ladies, does anyone know of a website for book swapping that has these types of books. I checked out a couple of sites but they don't have these types of books.
I love your articles and it's always so refreshing as in a glass of ice cold water. There is always plenty of good things to read about our black heritage. One thing that I just don't get is that our other races talk about our blackness being so bad but every time you look around they (& I won't relate to who they are.) Are trying to dress like us, where their hair like ours, listen to our music, then have the audacity to try to get tans from God knows where and in up with cancer of some kind. I am glad to be just who I am a PROUD AFRICAN AMERICAN
so should they whomever they happen to be just be you.
