I have the highest respect for Gwen Ifill and the work she has done over the years. I am a political junkie and I envy the position she is in. To be able to walk in her shoes in the political arena, see what she sees up close and personal and bein the know about our government, would be like winning a grand prize. She has always carried herself with such grace and tenacity. She puts me in mind of Ida B. Wells. PBS, NBC and all of the journalistic mediums she has been connected to are so blessed to have such a woman with her depth of knowledge and character to represent them. She has always been fair yet tough in her questioning. The wealth of information she gives to the viewers is invaluable. I loved Tim Russert and whenever I saw her on the Meet the Press, I know I was in for an enjoyable hour. When I see her, I am always so proud of the wonderful work she produces. She is a class act who represents not only Black women, but women in general who have succeeded in their endeavors and have imparted to us so much, so much more than we are even aware of. I look forward to seeing another example of her brilliance in tonight's debate.

Looking forward to the debate. I've been told that Gwen is a Conservative. At 9 PM tonight in Florida, barring an emergent situation, no phone calls or knocks on my door will be answered until after the debate.

History in the making. Mrs. Ifill is tough but fair. Continue to view her on the PBS channel weekly. She is "Awesome" at what she does. Indy, LM

Gwen looks like a younger modern version of Aunt Esther from "Sanford and Son", no?
