I was also offended when McCain made that remark last week. It is not only sad that he made the remark but that he thought an uneducated person not knowledgeable of Fannie or Freddie would be in attendance at a debate asking a question about the economy! It goes to show that he does not have a clue about people! Thus, if he does not understand people, he cannot serve them or "fight for them" as he puts it.

you are correct cbe ....the media ...in this case Essence wants us to focus on the little things while they destroy the bigger picture. don't get it twisted ESSENCE is a BLACK as McCain !! Where there is white ad dollars ...there is white control !

I am sorry to say, but I think a bigger deal is being made out of this than should be. McCain says a lot of stupid things, but I think that was just a general statement about the American Public may have not heard of them before this mess. We have bigger fish to fry!!!
