Sam's DVD is good news! I have one his books from a few years ago and refer to it often. Looking forward to purchasing the DVD. Here's wishing this "artist" continued success. He teaches us the tricks of makeup but also includes the most important items, skincare and tools.

Maria...you want to use a concealer for your dark spots and use a foundation to even our your skin. Iman has great foundations (at great prices). Since you've never worn makeup...the foundation stick by Iman would be great for you. For color matching...NEVER USE YOUR HAND...always choose 3 colors in your range and swatch them on the lower cheeck area of your face. (between your lower cheek and neck line). The color that disappears is the one for you. (or fades as you blend). Hope this helps!!! Also...Sam Fine's book is a great resource too!

I need all the tips for makeup this helps. I have never had my eyebrows arched nor do I wear make-up and I will be 38 soon. And I smoke so I would like the dark spots on my cheek bones some makeup to help hide that though I need to stop smoking to clear this up. What is a good makeup that can hide this?
