Chris Brown's Label Says Leaked Music Is Not New
One day after pleading guilty for a felony charge, Chris Brown's music has come back to haunt him.
Several sites leaked an MP3 of a song entitled "Not My Fault" alleging that it was new music from the Jive Records singer. However, his label issued a statement offering an explanation of the rebellious tune.
"Countering misleading reports of 'new' Chris Brown music: there are no 'new' songs from Chris Brown currently being promoted by Chris or his record label. There are several old demos circulating that are being falsely promoted as new material from Chris," his label said in a statement.
Brown, who received five years probation which requires him to pay court visits every three months, will aslo put in five-hour work day for the next 180 days in Virginia as well as take domestic violence courses. He's currently working on new album expected to be released later this year.—KNB
