Jennifer Hudson Says She Won’t Sing at Inauguration

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson has not belted out a tune since the tragic deaths of her mother, brother and nephew in late October last year. Hudson fans around the world got excited when the New York Post reported that the "Idol" star was set to sing the "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the inauguration ceremony next week. However, her rep told "Access Hollywood," "there is no truth to this." We wonder which star or singing sensation will take her place instead. —QS

I would love to hear Debra Cox or Tamia sing at inauguration. I haven't them in a while and they are both great singers.

Please, please please JHud reconsider and surprise us and sing at this historical moment. I do understand your loss but it would be great if you could do this one thing.

I agree beyonce is overrated and i'm tired of her too. she's only being nice to her fans because she wanted to sell her new cd and movie. There are tons of other ladies that can sing rings around her who I don't think is a great singer anyway

Let someone else sing besides Beyonce. I'm sick of her with her shaking and popping self. Everything shouldn't be revolved around her. There are more talented singers out there that don't even get considered or even recognized. I fault the media for hyping her up too much because now she has really gotten the big head.
