Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. served as an informer in past federal investigations against Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, but wasn't an informant in connection with the current charges brought against the governor, sources told CNN. Jackson has served as an informer for the Feds for at least a decade, the source said.

You must ask yourself, why would the feds "out" a longtime informant...the entire story sounds fishy to me and quite frankly I don't believe it, or are they trying to get young Jesse hurt? In Chicago like Philly snitches get stitches. Something is amiss here. Why did the news media report such a dangerous story?
