'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Star Kim Zolciak Speaks on Beef With Cast Members, Her New Single

ESSENCE.COM: Rumor has it that you and Dallas Austin don't talk anymore. Plus, he's said some really nasty things about you.
ZOLCIAK: Dallas is a piece of work. He likes to Twitter, which is so trivial. I don't know what his problem is and quite frankly I don't care. I don't have time for negative energy. I worked with Kandi on my new song and I'm really excited about that.

ESSENCE.COM: Is it true that you don't date Black men?
ZOLCIAK: Yes, it's true, I don't date Black men. I never have. It's not a prejudice. It's just a personal preference. People always think that Big Papa is Black. I don't know why. I've never dated a Black man. It's not to say it wouldn't happen in the future, but at this time, I never have.

ESSENCE.COM: Thanks for bringing that up. Photos of what appears to be you and a man named Lee Najjar walking on a beach popped up on the Web recently. Is Lee Najjar Big Papa?
ZOLCIAK: There are a lot of people who are alleged to be Big Papa and I know all of them, from Dallas Austin to Lee Najjar to Quincy Jones to Ted Turner. You just have to stay tuned and watch what happens to see who Big Papa really is.

ESSENCE.COM: This season has been a lot for you—between the fight with NeNe and the hair pulling with Sheree. How are you dealing with it all?
ZOLCIAK: It's been incredibly stressful and my best friend Cori has been my rock. My girls are always trying to pump me up and they keep me grounded. I can't deny that I do get emotional and ask myself sometimes, ‘Oh, my God, what have I done?' But it's a catch-22 and I just keep moving forward.

ESSENCE.COM: Tonight, Bravo has added an extra hour, featuring more details about your fight with Sheree. Do you think this is all overkill?
ZOLCIAK: All I know is that Sheree acted a fool. I mean, who does that as a grown woman? It was immature and I was really caught off guard by the whole thing. I guess controversy sells. We're not the highest rated because we go to church and bake cookies.

I am soo amazed by the issue of this one told NeNe, and that one told Sheree, and NeNe sang a song about Kim. Blah, blah! The fact is you have one woman that 3 other women can't get along with and a huge music producer who has no kind words for her. Hmmm, is everyone just picking on Kim or is there some truth in the fact that she is a liar and a s**t talker.

Wow, My husband and ?I just watched all of the season 2 episodes to date back to back. We have never watched the show prior to this date. Afterwards we both agree that this show is very entertaining! He is balck and I am white. For NeNe to tell Kim she ruined her day cause she did not want to be BLack was crazy! I read up alot on tha ladies and their men, ex-men ect. It blows me away how Classless a few of these females are. Especially when they spend most of their day being all well to do and pointing the finger at each other about very chilidish matters. And maybe a suggestion to Kim and NENE to keep their JOBLESS asses outta so much drama and idle time..would be to A. Spend more time with their children and Family and/or B. Donate time to a charity or Volunteer. Surely they have that type of stuff in "Black Hollywood" as they say on the show opener..lol Hey Ladies pay attention to your children and your Hubbies. Then you may not have to worry about women swoopin' in on your men and nannies leaving your children alone. That is all fine and well that you all have money and "Phat Ass Cribs" But at the end of the day all you have is your family and friends. Candi's tradgey should show that. I just can not get over the bitchieness an the backstabbin' FRIENDS?? None of them know the meaning of that or FAMILY. With the exception of Lisa and Candi they are the most down to earth. I am sure I will watch more. But WOW, I am gald I am not in their "Hood"!! Be grateful for what you have and thank God for what you have no matter how BIG or small. Amandalinn_1980

I'm still trying to figure out why Kim is on this show. Where is the token Black girl on the other Bravo housewife shows? I'm also trying to figure out why women who are not married are considered housewives. Are they saying that they could only find 2 Black women who were married in Atlanta to cast this show? Or were they only looking for a certain type of Sister ;-)

Stop It!!!! You women and men are getting so worked up over this reality drama and these women portraying themselves in a ignorant manner for money. Don't let things like this make you lose yourself and disrespect others. Calm down. Save your fight for child abuse, racism, rape of innocent women and children, starving children, homelessness and police brutality. If you don't stand up for something that makes a difference then you'll fall for anything! Thats nonsense.
