Mocha Moms, Inc., the national nonprofit organization for mothers of color, will host an inaugural gala on January 18 at 7 p.m. in celebration of Barack Obama's historic presidential win. Comments in reference to the appropriateness of First Lady Obama's arms being out is such a waste of time and trivial in light of what is going on with the economy, the War and how people are struggling.
She is the most wonderful representation and reflection of Black women that normally is not historically been in the media, unlike the other images that misrepresent us in so many ways.
Thank you First Lady for being who you are. Remain true to who you are right down to your bare arms.
