Italian Prime Minister Refers to President Obama and First Lady as 'Sun-Tanned'

Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi continues to stir international controversy after referring to President Obama and First Lady Michelle as being "sun-tanned" on the heels of his return from the G-20 summit. According to the Associated Press, he told a rally of conservative supporters in Milan that he was bringing greetings from the United States from "What's his name? Some, tanned guy. Ah, Barack Obama!" But he didn't stop there, adding, "You won't believe it, but the two of them went to the beach because the wife is also tanned." This isn't the first time the Italian PM made derogatory comment about President Obama but it's the first time he extended the offense to Michelle Obama. Shortly after winning the presidential election last November, Berlusconi said Obama was "young, handsome and even has a good tan."—Nazenet Habtezghi

If the President is suntanned then Michelle is burnt. She is dark as coal.
