Move over Superman, NBA Star Chris Bosh to the Rescue

NBA player Chris Bosh is being called a cyberhero after successfully winning back his name and the names of almost 799 others from a man who'd registered them as domain names on the Internet. Last week, a federal judge awarded the Toronto Raptors forward the URL www.chrisbosh.com but went a step further by turning over the complete slate of domain names to the six year pro baller.

The list of online identities included other current and former professional athletes as well as celebrities but also contained high school and college sports recruits like Erving Walker, children with famous parents, Mexican cities, and members of the Gotti family. Bosh is giving back the domain names to their rightful owners for free of charge. --AM
