Obama Addresses Wright Comments

Senator Barack Obama delivered a strong message at a press conference today, calling Rev. Wright's comments "appalling" and insisting that Wright does not speak for him or the campaign.

Obama said that while Rev. Wright might have wanted to defend himself, the insensitivity and outrageousness of his performances shocked and surprised him.
