Peanut Brownies

INGREDIENTS

  • 25 ounce semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 pound butter, cut into cubes
  • 3 cup sugar
  • 8 item large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/3 cup salted peanuts

PREPARATION

Heat oven to 350F. In top of double boiler, melt chocolate and butter. Whisk in sugar and eggs. Mix flour and baking soda; fold into the chocolate mixture. Fold in less than 1 cup of the peanuts. Pour mixture into buttered 18-by-12-inch baking pan. Sprinkle remaining nuts over top. Bake until set, about 15 minutes. Delicious served with grilled fresh fruit.
