Chef Jesse’s Southern Fried Catfish

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 item Catfish
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 item pinch of hot sauce
  • 1 item Seasoned Flour
  • 1 cup all purpose flour/ 1 cup corn meal
  • 1 teaspoon season salt ( Your favorite brand)
  • ½ teaspoon fresh black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

PREPARATION

Soak catfish in buttermilk for 1 hour or overnight, combine the flour, cornmeal, and season salt in a bowl, then dredge catfish in seasoned flour coat well. Shake off excess, heat oil, fry until crispy and golden brown,6 to 8 minutes
