Smoked Salmon Pate

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound smoked salmon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 8 ounce cream cheese, at room temperature
- 2 ounce 1⁄2 stick butter, softened
- 1⁄4 cup minced onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
PREPARATION
In food processor, blend salmon, cream cheese and butter. Add remaining ingredients and pulse until blended. Use rubber spatula to scrape pâté into serving dish; cover with plastic wrap.
Chill until ready to serve. Delicious as a dip with veggies or crackers. To make canapés (small open-faced sandwiches): Cut bread into rounds or squares; top with cucumber slice, then spread with pâté. Add sprig of dill and lemon zest.
